The agreement between you and Boating Puerto Rico
A non-refundable deposit (typically 30% of the charter total) is required to secure your date. The deposit is processed via Stripe at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due day-of, before departure, and may be paid in cash, Zelle, CashApp, Venmo, or by card.
If you choose to cancel due to weather concerns when the captain has cleared the trip, standard cancellation policy applies.
All charter prices include: USCG-licensed captain and mate, fuel, bottled water, sodas, ice, beers, light snacks, fresh fruit, sandwich/wrap lunch, floating mat, and Bluetooth sound system. Specific inclusions per boat are listed on each boat's page.
Additional charges apply for: BBQ upgrade, premium catering, jet skis, Seabob, decorations, San Juan transportation, premium liquor, and any custom add-ons. All add-ons are quoted in advance and billed with your final balance.
Each boat has a maximum capacity listed on its page. Exceeding the listed capacity is not allowed for safety and insurance reasons. Some boats accommodate additional guests above the base price (typically $200/person over base capacity) — confirm with us before booking.
You are responsible for damage caused by you or your guests beyond normal wear and tear. Charges will be assessed and billed based on repair costs. Examples include but are not limited to: broken furniture or fixtures, vomit or spillage requiring professional cleaning, lost or damaged equipment.
Bring only what you need. Boating Puerto Rico is not responsible for items lost, stolen, or damaged onboard, in marinas, or in transport vehicles. Valuables (phones, cameras, jewelry) should be kept in dry bags. We provide dry storage but do not insure personal property.
Boating activities carry inherent risks (sun, water, weather, motion). By booking, you acknowledge that you and your guests are participating voluntarily and assume normal risks of recreational boating. You will be asked to sign a standard liability waiver before departure.
Pregnant women, individuals with back/neck conditions, recent surgery, or other health concerns should consult their doctor before booking. Please notify us in advance of any medical issues so the captain can adjust the route and pace.
By participating in a charter, you grant Boating Puerto Rico permission to photograph or film during the trip and use those images on our website, social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook), Google Business Profile, and other marketing materials. If you do not want to be photographed, please tell the captain at the start of the charter and we will respect your wishes.
Pets are welcome on most of our boats — please confirm with us when booking. Owners are responsible for cleanup and any damage caused by pets. Pets must be supervised at all times and should be comfortable around water.
Tips for the captain and mate are not included in the price and are entirely at your discretion. The industry standard is 15–20% of the charter price split between the crew. Cash or Zelle preferred.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Fajardo, Puerto Rico.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect on the day you book applies to your charter. We will not retroactively apply new terms to confirmed bookings.
